1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Gleau app and website. By using Gleau, creating an account, or joining our launch list, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Gleau.

2. What Gleau is

Gleau is a voice-first app that creates personalized podcasts to help you get ready for a moment, such as a meeting, an interview, or a conversation. The podcasts are generated using AI and are provided for general informational purposes only. They are not professional advice, and you are responsible for how you use them.

The Gleau iOS app is licensed to you, not sold, under Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (the "Apple EULA"). These Terms govern your use of the Gleau service and website. Where they conflict with the Apple EULA regarding your license to the app itself, the Apple EULA controls.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country, to use Gleau. If you use Gleau on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are authorized to accept these terms for that organization.

4. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly at support@gleau.app if you believe your account has been used without permission.

5. Acceptable use

When using Gleau, you agree not to:

• Break the law or use Gleau for anything unlawful, harmful, or abusive.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the app or its systems.
• Use Gleau to generate content that infringes the rights of others or violates their privacy.
• Resell, scrape, or misuse the service or its outputs.

6. Plans and billing

Gleau is free to start, with a set number of podcasts included. Paid plans add more and are billed through your app store account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date, and you can manage or cancel them in your app store settings. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of the voice input you provide and the podcasts created for you. You grant Gleau the permissions needed to process your input, create your podcasts, and operate and improve the service. You are responsible for the content you submit and confirm you have the right to submit it.

8. Our intellectual property

Gleau, including its software, design, the orb mark, and branding, belongs to us and is protected by intellectual property laws. These terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks or branding without our permission.

9. Disclaimers

Gleau is provided "as is" and "as available." Podcasts are AI-generated and may be incomplete, out of date, or inaccurate. Gleau is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, or other expert advice. Always use your own judgment and consult a qualified professional where appropriate. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gleau and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

11. Termination

You may stop using Gleau at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these terms or to protect the service and its users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, such as ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability, will continue to apply.

12. Changes to the service or terms

We may update Gleau and these terms from time to time. When we change these terms, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Your continued use of Gleau after a change means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

Your license to the Gleau iOS app is governed by the Apple EULA, including its governing-law and jurisdiction terms. These Terms otherwise apply to your use of the Gleau service and website. We will add our full company and governing-law details here once our legal entity is established.
